CGTMSE Loan & Business Loan for Chakan MIDC Businesses

Chakan MIDC is home to automotive, engineering and component units of every size. As orders grow, so does the need for raw material, machinery and cash flow, and many owners find that a conventional loan asks for more security than they can give.

Kritagya Capital is a business-finance advisory in Pune. We help established Chakan businesses understand their funding options, including CGTMSE-backed loans for eligible MSMEs, machinery and term loans, and working capital (CC/OD), and prepare a strong application. Check your eligibility in about two minutes. If your business fits, upload your GST, ITR and bank statements securely and our team will review your case. No obligation.

Takes about 2 minutes · No obligation · Credit decisions rest with the lender.

In short: a CGTMSE loan is a business loan from a bank or NBFC that is covered by a government-backed guarantee, so eligible micro and small enterprises may not have to give property as collateral. Many Chakan MIDC units stand on leasehold plots, which can make a conventional secured loan harder. Kritagya Capital, based in Pune, advises on these options and helps you prepare the file. We are not a lender.

Why CGTMSE matters for MIDC units

Most units in Chakan MIDC stand on plots allotted on lease. Offering a leasehold plot as security can involve MIDC's permission and extra paperwork, and the plot may already be pledged for an earlier loan. For eligible micro and small enterprises, a CGTMSE-backed loan can reduce or remove the need for property as collateral. The lender still decides whether to lend.

What CGTMSE is (and is not)

A guarantee

A government-backed credit guarantee that lets banks and NBFCs lend to eligible MSEs without full collateral or a third-party guarantee.

Not a subsidy

It is not a loan from the government and not a grant. You apply for the loan at a lender, and the lender applies for the guarantee cover.

Protects the lender

The guarantee protects the lender, not the borrower. The loan must still be repaid in full.

Official scheme details: cgtmse.in.

Who can apply

  • Micro and small enterprises in manufacturing or services
  • Businesses with Udyam registration
  • Units that meet the lender's own credit norms (turnover, bank conduct, repayment history)
  • New and existing credit facilities may qualify, subject to the lender

The maximum guarantee is set by CGTMSE and can change. Your lender confirms the current limit for your case.

What it costs

CGTMSE-backed loans carry a guarantee fee and an annual service fee on top of the lender's interest and charges. The amounts depend on the loan size and category, and the lender will give you the exact figures before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

What is a CGTMSE loan?

It is a business loan from a bank or NBFC that is covered by the government-backed CGTMSE guarantee, so eligible micro and small enterprises may not need to give full collateral. CGTMSE does not lend directly.

Can a business on MIDC leasehold land get a CGTMSE-backed loan?

Many MIDC units do. Leasehold plots can make a conventional secured loan harder, which is why CGTMSE cover is often considered. Approval still depends on the lender's assessment.

Is a CGTMSE loan really collateral-free?

For eligible loans the lender may not ask for property as collateral or for a third-party guarantee, but this depends on the lender, the loan amount and your profile. The assets created from the loan, such as machinery, stock or receivables, are usually offered as primary security, and the lender may still ask for the promoters' personal guarantee.

Can I get funding for machinery for my Chakan unit?

Machinery and term loans are commonly used for new or upgraded equipment. Whether it suits you depends on your financials, existing loans and the lender's policy. Keep the machine quotations or invoices ready.

What documents do I need?

Udyam registration, GST returns, ITR, bank statements, existing loan details and KYC. We share the full list during the eligibility check.

How long does it take?

It depends on the lender and on how complete your documents are. We cannot promise a time, but complete documents usually save days.

Is Kritagya Capital a bank or lender?

No. Kritagya Capital provides business-finance advisory and facilitation. It does not lend from its own books and does not guarantee sanction or disbursement. All credit decisions rest with the lender.
